As a student counsellor, you are learning to hold your clients’ pain, whilst managing your own. You are getting your head around theory, research and application. You are considering how to structure your next academic essay, or wondering how to create a presentation that will tick every box.
If that wasn’t enough, you may need a minimum number of counselling hours as part of your course, you have hardly any spare time and you’re on a tight budget!
I offer low cost, flexible study support and counselling to suit you.
Having counselling with Sarah during this time has kept me going through the course, especially at times when things felt like they were becoming too much. Being able to talk about challenges in my personal life, as well as receive support and guidance through the academic work has helped me to feel more in control and confident.Student – Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Skills
I really enjoy working with counselling students and supporting them as they develop into excellent therapists with their own unique styles. It’s wonderful being part of their journey, from the first assignment and the very first client as a student, to celebrating graduation and looking ahead to a new and fulfilling career.
When we first meet, you can tell me about your course and we can establish whether you would like counselling, study support or both.
The price per hour for both talking therapy and academic guidance is £35. (This highly reduced rate is especially for students studying counselling/psychotherapy).
