Clinical Supervision

Whether you’re a trainee, newly qualified, or an experienced therapist, I provide professional, compassionate supervision tailored to your needs.

With an Advanced Clinical Supervision qualification, I create a safe, ethical, and supportive environment where you can explore your work, build confidence, and develop your skills. I work in line with the ethical standards set by the BACP, which states:

“Supervision is essential to how practitioners sustain good practice throughout their working lives. It ensures standards, enhances quality, fosters creativity, and supports the well-being of the practitioner.” – BACP

Using the Seven-Eyed Model, I help supervisees reflect on their clients, their feelings, and the dynamics within the therapeutic relationship, ensuring you feel supported and equipped to offer the best possible care, whilst also looking after your own well-being.

A Space to Reflect, Process & Grow

I know from experience that counselling can be a deeply rewarding but also emotionally demanding profession. Over the years, the support of my own supervisor has been invaluable, and I understand just how important it is to have a space where you can be open about your experiences.

Supervision with me is a collaborative, non-judgmental space where you can bring your challenges, successes, and emotions without fear. Just like with my clients, I laugh and cry alongside my supervisees. I’m right there with you, offering insight, encouragement, and a place to process the emotional impact of our work.

In supervision, we have the opportunity to explore our own emotional responses and how our empathy, care, and investment in our clients shape the support we offer them.

Balancing the Needs of All Counsellors

I provide supervision for counsellors working in all settings, from those based in organisations and charities to those in private practice (whether self-employed or part of a larger service). I tailor my approach to where you are in your journey:

Trainees – Support with coursework, placements, and growing in confidence.
Newly Qualified Counsellors – Helping you refine your counselling style and find your professional identity.
Experienced Therapists – Providing a fresh perspective, deeper reflection, and ethical guidance for complex cases.

Thinking of starting your own private practice? I can help you build your practice with confidence and clarity.

Ethical, Safe & Supportive Supervision

I am committed to helping my supervisees work safely, ethically, and in line with professional standards. I offer a space where you can navigate challenges with:

Empathy – Acknowledging and validating your experiences.
Clear Guidance – Supporting ethical decision-making and best practice.
Confidence – Helping you trust your instincts and develop a counselling style that feels right for you.

I’m not bossy or judgmental. I walk alongside you as a loyal, caring guide and colleague. I don’t see supervision as a top-down process, I see us as equals. My role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance, insight, and a space where you feel truly heard and supported.

I offer remote supervision, providing flexible support wherever you are.
